A graduate in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Elisa specialised in family and community medicine.

She obtained a master’s degree at the Sant Joan de Deu Hospital in Working Sessions Assisted by Animals. At ITDE she completed a course as an International Dog Handler with Turid Rugaas.
